There should be a few ways that you can let off a pair of jumper cables up to give you enough power to open the trunk. Raise the hood and make satisfied that there 's not a battery under the hood....

How do you pick off the "change oil now" lamp on the overhead console of a 2004 Lincoln Towncar. My mechanic hardened to do it, but I took it to a quick change shop while out of town...
A: Unfortunately it should have been done with the oil alteration. There is a sensor on the side of the oil pan that needs to be unscrewed, unplugged, and cleaned.
